Do you know what it really means to be wise?
- Wise people listen to instruction, especially the Word of God.
Proverbs 1:5
Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.

Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

- Wise people fear the Lord.
Proverbs 1:7
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

- Wise people associate with wise people.

Isn't it amazing that all those admonitions come from one little book of the Bible? I just love Proverbs.
