Be Prepared: The Body

I don't know if you, my friends, are just comment shy or if this topic of caring for the body has us all stumped. Just in case it's the latter, I thought I'd share a few verses on the importance of care for our body, the temple.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
1 Corinthians 3:16

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
1 Corinthians 6:19

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31

This body is the only vessel we have with which to serve God. Are you caring for it in light of that?

I've really just been to busy to comment...but since you asked... I could give lots of suggestions, but am I actually following my own advice...hmmmm...not lately. The biggest thing for me isn't so much about what I eat as what I drink. I am NOT a water drinker...I have to remind myself to drink water...for some reason I don't have this problem with coffee...
The silly thing is, I know how much better I feel when I drink more water...I have more energy, because my body is hydrated, not DEhydrated.
So why is it such a struggle...there's another question for your readers LOL
My husband and I try to not eat in the evening, after supper...we don't need the extra calories, and we get a better rest too. Our bodies shouldn't be working on digesting food when we are sleeping!
There's my 2cents...or more

I agree with the water part! Why is it so hard to do something so simple that is so good for us?
